These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Comfort Conveyancing website. By accessing this Website, you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws. Comfort Conveyancing Pty Ltd is a NSW licensed conveyancing practice operating under the Conveyancers Licensing Act 2003 (NSW), the Conveyancers Licensing Regulation 2021 and other applicable legislation.

    The content on this Website is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. Viewing or using this Website does not create a client–conveyancer relationship. You should obtain independent legal advice before relying on any information contained on this Website.

  2. Engagement of Services
    You are not our client until we have issued a formal Costs Agreement and Disclosure, you have accepted it, and we have confirmed that we will act on your behalf.
    Submitting an online enquiry or contacting us does not create a client relationship or oblige us to act for you.
    We reserve the right to decline to act where appropriate, including where we are unable to satisfy our legal or regulatory obligations under applicable legislation, including the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth).

  3. Costs and Fees
    All services are subject to a written Costs Agreement and Disclosure.
    Our fees may include professional fees, disbursements, statutory search fees and electronic settlement (PEXA) fees.
    Any fee estimates published on this Website are indicative only and are not binding. Additional fees may apply where the scope of work changes or additional work becomes necessary.
    All trust money is managed in accordance with applicable New South Wales trust accounting legislation.

  4. Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF)
    From 1 July 2026, Australian conveyancing practices are required to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth).
    If you engage our services, we may be required to:

  • verify your identity;

  • conduct customer due diligence;

  • undertake sanctions screening, politically exposed person (PEP) screening or other screening required by law;

  • request additional information or supporting documentation; and

  • decline to act or continue acting where we are unable to satisfy our legal obligations.
    You agree to provide all information and documentation reasonably requested to enable us to comply with our legal obligations.
    Failure to provide requested information or documentation may result in us being unable to commence or continue acting on your behalf.

  1. Electronic Conveyancing and Verification of Identity
    By engaging us, you authorise the use of PEXA, InfoTrack and other secure electronic platforms for electronic settlements, secure electronic onboarding, identity verification, customer due diligence, electronic contracts and document management.
    Where required, you must complete our electronic onboarding process, Verification of Identity (VOI), Client Authorisation and any other documentation reasonably requested to enable us to comply with our legal obligations.
    You consent to communicating with us and receiving documents electronically.

  2. Accuracy of Information Provided
    You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information and to notify us promptly if any information changes.
    We are not responsible for delays, additional costs or losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information provided by you.

  3. Website Use
    You must not use this Website for any unlawful purpose or interfere with its operation or security.
    You must not reproduce, copy, distribute or otherwise use any Website content without our prior written consent.
    We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to this Website at our discretion.
